We are once again approaching that wonderful time of year when we hold our Annual BMS Christmas Festival at the Empress Ballroom in the Winter Gardens on Tuesday 10th December.
With performances from our Youth Concert Band, BASSO, Massed Primary Orchestra, Guitar Ensemble, Soloists and over 500+ children from our local schools coming together as the Massed Primary Schools Choir, the night guarantees to bring plenty of energy and festivities to all that attend.
Tickets will be available for purchase from the Winter Gardens ticket office from November. Our set prices are £9.00 for adults, £6.00 for children over 11 years. These prices will be increased by the Winter Garden’s booking fee, restoration levy or e-ticket charge.
From July 2021 the Winter Gardens have been charging a Restoration Levy of £1.75 on all tickets purchased both online and in-person at the Box Office. This levy is ring-fenced and goes directly into the investment needed in the Grade 2 listed venue. The Winter Gardens also charge a 10% booking fee and if you book online, there is a further charge of £1.50 for your e-ticket. This is typical of such venues. Ticket prices can be up to £13.15 for adults and £9.85 for children over 11 years.
If you go to the Winter Garden’s box office in person, you will only be charged the restoration levy and and not the booking fee or e-ticket charge. Also, please note that tickets had been sold out before Lunchtime in 2023 so please book early!
