Do you play a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument? The Blackpool Music Service Youth Concert Band is looking for talented, enthusiastic and dedicated musicians of all ages.
This is an exciting ensemble which will exceed your expectations. New repertoires, regular concerts in prestigious venues, and new projects happen every year.
Rehearsals are supported by specialist instrumental tutors with a wealth of performing experience. So much so, that 43 seats with national bands and orchestras have been offered to youth concert band members in the last five years.
We are always recruiting new members and it would be great to see as many woodwind, brass and percussion players as possible at our enjoyable and friendly rehearsals.
This is a fabulous way to meet friendly, like-minded musicians with an appetite for musical success. As a consequence, we are confident that you will find this experience extremely rewarding and challenging.
We are delighted to be able to offer you this opportunity and look forward to welcoming you at one of our free rehearsals at the Music Centre every Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm.
