Our annual Musician of the Year was once again held virtually this year, with some of the highest levels of performance we’ve had yet! Support from so many Blackpool Schools was excellent and it was the schools themselves who provided our ultimate list of virtual finalists.
Here is a list of the winners:
Key Stage 4
1st – Sebastian Ball from St Mary’s Catholic Academy.
Sebastian played ‘Time’ Pink Floyd.
2nd – Star Worthington from St Mary’s Catholic Academy.
Harrison played ‘Chant de l’alouette’ by Tchaikovsky.
Key Stage 3
Winner – Bethany Casey from Millfield High School and BMS Youth Concert Band.
Bethany performed “Gigue’ by Holmes.
Key Stage 2
1st – Emma Burgess from Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Primary School.
Emma performed ‘Uptown Funk’ by Mark Ronson, featuring Bruno Mars.
2nd – Anakin O’Driscoll from Westminster Primary Academy.
Anakin performed ‘Puppet on a String’ by Phil Coulter & Bill Martin.
