The National Youth Orchestra (NYO) are coming to the Blackpool Tower Ballroom to meet and perform to more young people! They are opening up the buzz of orchestral music to all teenagers, music educators and youth organisations across the UK.
Blackpool Music Service has forged wonderful partnerships with national organisations including the National Youth Orchestra, to support our schools and our children. We encourage our schools to try to participate in as many of these FREE opportunities as possible.
The National Youth Orchestra will be running their ‘Inspire’ programme in St Mary’s Catholic Academy during February half-term. This will give many opportunities to all students who are Grade 4 plus.
The first part is on Monday 19 February and will be held in the Tower Ballroom. This will be two exciting one hour concert programmes. The second part is on Tuesday 20 February for eight musicians.
