World Nursery Rhyme Week Ambassadors
Blackpool Music Service are ambassadors for World Nursery Rhyme Week.
Our Early Years Strategy, Tiddly Om Pom Poms is providing so many new opportunities for young children and young families. Recent sessions had staff, parents and children fully immersed in World Nursery Rhyme Week and involved a further 15 Blackpool schools and 671 children.
All participants thoroughly enjoyed learning nursery rhymes which linked fun activities, improved phonics and the interaction of parents and children.
These sessions have further developed speech, social and communication skills, and have enhanced creativity, cognitive and physical development. This was most evident throughout the sessions where everyone had great fun and enjoyed learning.
All schools also received a new pack of resources and a certificate confirming their inclusion and participation in these activities.
